Ingredients;
95g plain flour
200g caster sugar
50g brown sugar
25g cocoa
1/4 tsp salt
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
113g unsalted butter
100g dark chocolate (chopped)
8-10 Ferrero rochers
20g nutella spread (melted)
Method:
Step 1: Grease and line a baking tin with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 180˚C.
Step 2: Using a heatproof bowl add the butter and chocolate and place over a saucepan of simmering water. Make sure that the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water.
Step 3: Once melted, remove from the heat and stir until smooth. Leave to cool slightly.
Step 4: In another bowl, whisk the sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until thick and pale. Then begin to fold in the melted chocolate until incorporated.
Step 5: Next, add in the melted chocolate, butter and vanilla and beat through.
Step 6: Finally add the flour, cocoa and salt into the bowl with the same bowl and whisk until fully combined.
Step 7: Pour into the prepare tin and then add in the ferrero rocher, melt the nutella and place on top of the brownies.
Step 8: Bake for 40-45minutes. Allow to cool down to room temperature before slicing. Serve and enjoy!
