Aloo Chaat

Super yummy vegetarian dish

Ingredients:
1 tbsp oil
Handful of potatoes (chopped into squares)
50g Chickpeas
1 red onion (chopped)
Handful of Peanuts (crushed)
Handful of coriander

Mint Chutney

Spices:
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala


Method:
Step 1:
Firstly, cook the chopped potatoes in a pot on medium heat until soft but not mushy.

Step 2:
While the potatoes are cooking, prepare the mint chutney (see recipe link above)

Step 3: Next, heat a pan to medium/high and throw in your oil, and fry the potatoes along with the chickpeas. Allowing the potatoes to really cook and get that crispy base.

Step 4: Next, crush the peanuts until small and fine and add to a bowl.
Chop the red onion finely and add to a bowl.
Chop the coriander and add to a bowl.
Finally, add some greek yogurt with a little bit of water to a bowl and mix.

Step 5: Prepare your chaat by adding the potato & chickpeas onto a plate.
Followed by some red onion, peanuts, coriander and top with yogurt, pinch of spices (chilli & garam masala)
and mint chutney.

Serve with some naan or simply eat as is.
