Masala Papad

The perfect light snack from north Indian

Ingredients:
3 - 4 poppadoms
1 medium red onion (chopped finely)
2 medium tomatoes (chopped finely)
2 tbsp coriander (chopped)
1 tsp lime juice
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp salt

Method:
Step 1:
Firstly, prepare by chopping the red onion, tomatoes and coriander and place into a large bowl.

Step 2: Add in the spices as well as the lime juice and combine until fully incorporated.

Step 3: For a healthier dish, I would recommend microwaving the poppadoms. Place each one separately into the microwave and cook for 60-90 seconds. They will rise slightly and crisp.

Step 4: Spoon the masala filling onto the papad.

Step 5: Sprinkle some chopped coriander. You can eat these whole or break into 4 pieces creating a pizza like shape and slices.

Serve warm and quickly before they go soggy.
