Ingredients:
10 large raw (shell on) prawns
3 garlic cloves (sliced finely)
1 red chilli (chopped)
Handful chopped parsley
50ml olive oil
1 tsp pepper
1/2 smoked paprika
1 lemon (juiced)
Extras:
Lemon slices
Wholemeal bread (toasted)
Garlic cloves (baked)
Method:
Step 1: Firstly, peel the prawns, remove the heads and discard the veins by running the tip of a knife down the back, pull out and continue this process for each prawn.
Step 2: Prepare the garlic and chilli by finely slicing and chop the parsley leaves into small pieces.
Step 3: Add the olive oil into the pan, allow to heat on medium heat and add in the garlic and chilli’s. Allow to cook for 30-60 seconds before adding in the paprika.
Step 4: Add in the prawns, and fry on both sides for 2 minutes per side. When turning the prawns, add in the parsley.
Step 5: Before taking the prawns off the heat, add in the squeezed lemon juice.
Step 6: Remove from the heat, adding in a touch of salt and more parsley before serving with fresh warm crusty bread.
