Ingredients;
200g Biscuits
135g Butter
200g Dark Chocolate (70% cocoa)
2/3 tsp Golden Syrup
100g Marshmallows
Optional:
Raisins
Cranberries
Nuts - Hazelnuts
Method:
Step 1: Grease and line a baking tin (18”) with baking paper.
Step 2: Crush 200g (biscuit of your choice) biscuits, I used digestives. Crush to about 50p or a euro size lumps. Best to put biscuits into a sealed back and bash using a rolling pin.
Step 3: In a large saucepan melt the 135g butter with 200g chocolate and the 2/3 tsp of golden syrup, stirring occasionally until fully melted and smooth.
Step 4: Remove from the heat, set aside too cool. Roughly for about 10minutes.
Step 5: Once cooled, add in the biscuits, marshmallows, and any other ingredients of your choice into the chocolate and stir until everything is covered.
Step 6: Tip the mixture into the lined baking tin, and spread it out to the corners.
Step 7: Chill for at least 2hours. Cut into bar size squares.
Serve and Enjoy!
