Malteser Tiffin

For all the Malteser fanatics

Ingredients:
175g Digestives (chopped)
175g Golden syrup
125g Butter
200g Milk chocolate
100g Dark chocolate
75g Raisins
100g Maltesers

Extras:
100g Milk chocolate
100g Dark chocolate
50g Maltesers

Method:
Step 1:
Melt the golden syrup and butter together in a pan over low heat. When the butter and syrup have melted completely and turn off the heat.

Step 2: Add the chopped chocolate into the pan and stir until the chocolate has melted.

Step 3: Next, prepare a baking tray with parchment paper and pour in the chopped digestives, Maltesers, and raisins into it.

Step 4: Pour the melted chocolate over and stir together thoroughly until it’s all coated well, pressing down firmly.

Step 5: In another bowl, melt the rest of the chocolate (extras) and pour over the top of your mixture creating an even layer on top. Sprinkle some Maltesers on top and crush a few over as well.

Step 6: Leave to set in the fridge for 3-4hours, once set cut into your desired sizes.

Tips: Tiffin stays fresh for up to 1-2 weeks when kept in an air-tight container in the fridge.
