Ingredients;
75g Unsalted Butter
100g dark chocolate (chopped into pieces)
370g nutella
2 Eggs
100g brown sugar
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
100g All purpose Flour
Method:
Step 1: Begin by greasing and lining a baking tin with baking paper. Preheat your oven to 175˚C.
Step 2: In your stand mixer, add the butter and beat it until it achieves a smooth consistency.
Step 3: Introduce the brown sugar, and blend it with the butter until it forms a creamy mixture.
Step 4:Gradually incorporate the eggs, one at a time, ensuring thorough blending after each addition.
Step 5: Slowly introduce the vanilla extract and half of the Nutella mixture on a gentle speed. Begin adding the flour, ensuring not to overmix—maintain the mixer at a slow speed.
Step 6: Gently fold in the chopped chocolate using a wooden spoon. Transfer the entire mixture into the prepared baking tin.
Step 7: Just before baking, distribute the remaining Nutella across the top. Then, utilizing a knife, artistically swirl the Nutella into the batter.
Step 8: Allow the cake to bake for approximately 30-32 minutes. To ensure the center is fully baked, insert a toothpick—it should come out clean.
Step 9: After baking, let the cake cool before removing it from the tin. If desired, you can enhance the flavor by adding more Nutella and a touch of salt on top.
Step 10: Once fully cooled, elegantly slice and serve the delicious creation.
